I bought some Pillsbury crescent rolls the other day, something I never do. I decided to make them for brunch but instead of making them plain, I thought it would be fun to make them into a meal by turning them into a sort of breakfast sandwich. The result was pretty tasty.
Ingredients:
1 package of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (8 rolls)
1 tomato, chopped
2 Tbsp chopped green onions
1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon (about 5-6 slices worth)
1/4 cup shredded cheese of your choice (I used pepper jack)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Â
- Lay out the Pillsbury Crescent Roll dough and separate all the pieces so as to create the 8 different dough triangles. Lay out all other ingredients.
- Evenly distribute all the ingredients to all 8 triangles, placing them in the top corner as seen below. Next, roll up each triangle to create the crescent roll look like it shows on the packaging, etc.
- Place rolls on a greased or non-stick baking dish and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes until lightly brown on top. Serve warm and enjoy!
