I decided to make some brownies the other night, instead of using normal cocoa powder I used some Special Dark cocoa to make them extra delicious. This brownie recipe turned out perfect. The brownies were the perfect consistency with a great flavor.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour an 9″ by 13″ – 2″ deep pan pan.
- In a large microwaveable bowl, melt butter. Remove from microwave, and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Beat in cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Do not overcook.
- Serve warm. Enjoy!
