Hummus is easy to make and it is a great snack food. It can be used as a dip or as a condiment. You can alter it to your liking and you can add any extra ingredients to make it a custom flavored hummus. I received this recipe from my friend Danielle, it is a basic recipe and very delicious.
Ingredients:
1 can garbanzo beans (save the liquid it comes in and use it to make hummus the right consistency)
2 cloves of garlic
1 lemon juiced (about 1/4 cup)
2 tbsp Tahini sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Grab your food processing device, like a a blender or a magic bullet.
- Add all the ingredients and combine on High until everything is well blended.
- You can adjust flavors to fit your liking by adding more or less of any of the ingredients. Use the garbanzo bean water to change the consistency.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
