I will never buy frozen corn dogs again, no need. This was such a simple recipe and since it is homemade I can guarantee that the corn bread being used is as healthy as it ought to be. I think they would also work great for mothers who want to make them ahead of time and then stick them in the freezer to warm up on a moments notice.
Ingredients:
1 package of 8 your preferred hot dogs
1 batch of your preferred corn bread, I used Corn Bread A La Megan
mini muffin pan
Directions.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare corn bread batter according to the recipe’s directions.Â
- Spray the mini muffin pan with baking spray. Fill each cup 3/4ths full of corn bread batter.
- Cut hot dogs into 4 pieces, place one piece of hot dog into the middle of the corn bread batter in the cup, repeat until each cup is filled.Â
- Bake for 10 minutes or until corn bread is cooked thoroughly. Eat and/or freeze for your enjoyment. Enjoy!
